  • Grief is an appropriate response when people experience broken relationships, death, or life-changing events, and recovering from a major loss can be difficult. Talking with others who've had similar experiences and are at varying steps of recovery can help.

    Groups are structured to facilitate the effects of grief through loss and the provision of tools to manage symptoms.

    Joe Wilson, LCSW will facilitate the class.

  • Lymphedema education will be provided to patients that have had some type of surgery in which lymph nodes are removed during the diagnostic procedure. Information will include general anatomy and physiology, causes of lymphedema, signs to look for if developing lymphedema and ways to prevent the development of lymphedema.

  • Are you or a loved one worried about developing type 2 diabetes? You can reduce your risk through simple lifestyle changes. Even modest weight loss and increased physical activity can cut the risk in half.

    This class will teach healthy living strategies for adults with prediabetes, insulin resistance, borderline diabetes, or type 2 diabetes. 

    Classes are the third Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

  • If you think you may be suffering from depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress, call for a confidential, free, half-hour screening with our licensed mental health counselor. This screening program provides increased awareness of the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, and will help you connect with available mental health resources in the community. Available for adults and older adolescents, in English or with Spanish interpretation.
