  • Back to sleep, tummy to play is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, but many newborn to pre-crawling infants struggle with tummy time. This 90-minute class will introduce: tricks to help babies enjoy tummy time, infant massage tips for stimulating or soothing, techniques to nurture babies' body and brain development for sensory motor success, and activities and environments to help baby thrive, as well as those to avoid.

  • Baby Be Safe is a class for expectant parents, parents with children under 3, grandparents, and childcare providers. This class will focus on how to prevent the most common injuries seen in children. Learn baby to toddler growth and development and ways to prevent injuries in and out of the home, including car seat safety. Class participants will learn to perform CPR, use and AED, manage a choking event, and other ways to respond to emergencies.

    This is a four part series that will walk you through the steps of creating a garden full of healthy food. Local experts will help with tips on how to garden in our region.

    This class is designed for every level of gardener who wants to raise vegetables in McCall.

  • Are you or a loved one worried about developing type 2 diabetes? You can reduce your risk through simple lifestyle changes. Even modest weight loss and increased physical activity can cut the risk in half.

    This class will teach healthy living strategies for adults with prediabetes, insulin resistance, borderline diabetes, or type 2 diabetes. 

    Classes are the third Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

  • If you think you may be suffering from depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress, call for a confidential, free, half-hour screening with our licensed mental health counselor. This screening program provides increased awareness of the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, and will help you connect with available mental health resources in the community. Available for adults and older adolescents, in English or with Spanish interpretation.

  • The expressive arts have been shown to help with healing. We invite you to join us for this free monthly program, giving you the opportunity to experience relaxation and healing through creative expression. The class is facilitated by an oncology social worker who has received additional training in expressive arts. We provide all supplies needed to participate.
